- The proposal is to build a modern IT/ITeS Park at Kozhikkode, in northern Kerala in a 25.11acre (10.16 Hectare) campus under the SEZ scheme of the Govt of India.
- Within the first 4 years, more than 10 lakh square feet of space is planned to be built. On completion of both the phases, the total built up area will be 31 lakh square feet, out of which 22.5 lakh square feet will be for IT/ITeS processing.
- Total capital outlay is Rs. 600.00 crores. Project is planned to be implemented in two phases. First phase costing Rs.386 crores will be completed within 4 years. Total project will be completed in 8 years.
- The entire facility is planned as an eco friendly premise. Processing buildings will be designed in such a way to qualify for LEED Gold standards.
- Out of the total land area, 70% will be used for processing. Only 30% will be used for support infrastructure and commercials.
- The Park is expected to generate 20,000 direct employments at full capacity on single shift basis.
- Requirement of power will be 20 MW at full capacity. Water requirement will be 1.25 MLD.
