Roles and Responsibilities:
Application Deployment & Monitoring:
Build, refine, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configure dashboards/alerts for monitoring, drive incident resolution.
Create and update SOPs and runbooks for deployment, rollback, and monitoring.
Infrastructure Setup & Operations:
Design and document scalable deployment architectures and DR mechanisms.
Set server KPIs, capacity?plan for growth, and respond to performance anomalies.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Act as the primary DevOps point of contact for internal engineering teams.
Champion best practices for security, observability, and cost optimization.
Job Skills
- Qualifications:
Experience: 4 + years in DevOps and IT infrastructure roles supporting production systems.
Track Record: Hands?on ownership of deployments for PHP/ Node.js / Go / Python applications.
Expertise: Strong grasp of server hardware, performance tuning, troubleshooting tools, and CI/CD concepts.
Process: Proven ability to design DR strategies, capacity plans, and comprehensive monitoring solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
Certifications: AWS/ Azure / GCP / Red Hat RHCE (preferred, not mandatory).
Technical Skills:
CI/CD platforms: AWS Code Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines or equivalent.
Monitoring & logging: Grafana, ELK/Opensearch or similar.
Infrastructure?as?Code: Terraform, CloudFormation (nice?to?have).
Containers & orchestration: Docker, ECS, Kubernetes(nice?to?have).
Scripting & automation: Bash, Python or equivalent.
Networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs.
Backup/restore & DR tooling, capacity?planning methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Analytical problem?solver who thrives on diagnosing and fixing complex issues.
Clear, proactive communicator across technical and non?technical stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for uptime and performance.
