3+ years in SEO, content strategy or growth engineering, with demonstrable recent work on AI search, GEO, AEO or LLM visibility.
Hands-on experience building agentic workflows or automations with tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, LangChain, or direct API and MCP integrations.
Working knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM behaviour, including retrieval, grounding, citation patterns and why models hallucinate a competitor’s name.
Solid technical SEO foundation: crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture and Core Web Vitals.
Comfort writing scripts. Python or JavaScript at the level needed to pull APIs, parse results and build a monitoring job.
The instinct to build measurement before making claims. This field is full of confident assertions with no data behind them.
Clear written communication, and the honesty to say when an AI channel is not yet worth the investment.
    GOOD TO HAVE
Experience with MCP servers, AI connector directories or plugin marketplace listings.
Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs Brand Radar, Profound, Peec AI or similar AI visibility platforms.
Background in B2B SaaS, developer tooling or a technical product category.
Experience with digital PR or link earning as a route to citation.
Understanding of privacy and compliance as a subject area.

Job Skills

  • Own CookieYes’s visibility in AI search: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. Define how we measure it, then improve it.
Build the measurement layer for LLM visibility: prompt sets, share-of-voice tracking, citation monitoring and competitor benchmarking, so this stops being anecdotal.
Run generative engine optimisation in practice: content structure, entity and schema markup, extractable formatting, and the freshness signals that make a page quotable.
Identify which third-party sources LLMs cite in our category, and work with content, PR and partnerships to earn placement in them.
Work with product and partnerships on distribution inside AI ecosystems, including MCP servers, connector directories and plugin marketplaces, and on integrations with AI website builders.
Build agentic workflows for the growth team: competitor and regulation monitoring, content research and briefing pipelines, review and approval flows, reporting automation, and internal tooling that removes manual work.
Evaluate and integrate AI tooling across the growth stack, and set the guardrails: what gets automated, what stays human-reviewed, and how we check output quality.
Keep the traditional SEO fundamentals intact. AI search sits on top of technical health, internal linking and topical authority, not instead of them.
Report on AI-sourced traffic, assisted signups and share of voice, and tell the team plainly what is working and what is noise.
